What has your puppy been eating until now?

He has had raw Beef Pet mince, raw Chicken Carcasses, raw chicken wings, and raw chicken necks (bashed up), Black Hawk puppy biscuits soaked for 10 minutes, occasionally add egg, honey and Kefir. (This the link to make Kefir)

As they get older I introduce fruit and vegies and a splash of apple cider vinegar. Sardines are great too

At 8 weeks old a puppy is fed twice a day and gets approx 50 grams of mince (Staffy), 40 grams of mince (Frenchie) and a few biscuits soaked in water each meal or substitute pet mince for a few chicken necks.

Water should always be available. While they are growing feed to appetite, making sure that each meal is taken up after 20 minutes the important thing is not to leave it down where it can be fly blown or stale, or to allow the puppy to get into the habit of eating a little at a time throughout the day.

If you feed quite separate meals, he will be ready for it and he will eat well.

Up to age 6 months feed 2 meals per day then cut back to one meal unless puppy is underweight, keeping in mind that if he should appear to be getting overweight make smaller meals.

What else can he eat?
